TIME
Performance, 2008


Done as a part of the exhibition Processionen in St Jacobs church, Stockholm.

"A piece that exhamins a boundness to time in an almost obsessive rite is Johanna Adebäck's performance. She is laying in her own bed, for the day placed in front of the presbytery, dressed in her grandma's old dress. Every 12th minute she steps out of the bed and performes the same scheeme of movement. The activity is going on through the whole day, with it's start just before the church's opening time and it's end just after it's closing time. By that she has, you could say, taken control ower and mastered the church space, maybe also something else." Eva Asp, curator
