SETTING THE TABLE
Performance, 2005

In the performance, held at Konstfack (Stockholm University of Art, Craft and Design), we try to set the table over and over again but the action gets interrupted by the fact that the surface is broken, leaving the table setting uncompleted. Setting the table is a part of a project circled around repetitions in everyday routines and lack of reflection as a result of the monotonous repetition. In the project we also discussed and made a connection between the routines and an increasing consumption in the world in general and our western society in particular.
